Kevayling

Ray & Annette Chitty’s adventures onboard their Freeman 30 cruiser ‘Kevayling’.

Below we have published some photos of the work we did on Kevayling during the winter of 2008/2009. On stripping off the old rubber rubbing strip on her side we found a lot of the original wood was rotten, particularly around the bow. Our good friend Stewart, a master with a bit of wood, managed to crave and fit a brand new bow section for us. Annette worked on each window to bring them back to near original state while I concentrated on the paint work.
